Flexible Flange Gasket Sealant – Low Strength. Excellent oil resistance and flexibility to accommodate joint movement. LOCTITE® SI 5910 is a low-strength silicone flange sealant designed for use on flexible flanges and machined or cast surfaces made of metal or plastic.
It is suitable for gaps up to 1 mm and has a curing depth of 2.75 mm after 24 hours. Typical applications include sealing stamped sheet-metal covers, such as distributor covers and oil pans.
